Pre-Sales Consultant

Computer / Information Technology (Software)

  • Manage the sales process from preparing proposals, presenting proposals, negotiating technical and business parameters to close deals
  • Work collaboratively with potential customers to capture their technical and business needs
  • Develop compelling sales materials (E.g. presentations, cases, technical documentation) outlining product features, business benefits and value proposition of Inspire-Tech’s solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
  • Coordinate closely with internal technical and product management teams to align solution design with customers’ requirements
  • Work closely with the product teams to provide feedback on issues, manage feature requests and ensure a smooth transition from sales to deployment
  • Attend and handle customer enquiries, issues, complaints and feedback
  • Build and maintain relationship with key personnel of prospects and existing customers
  • Provide product support and updates to channel partners


  • A minimum of two years working experience in sales, pre-sales or consulting function or equivalent experience field in B2B tech companies
  • Strong understanding of software sales processes
  • Excellent presentation and customer service skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information and business benefits to both technical and non-technical customers
  • Working knowledge of networking, security and/or storage technologies preferred
  • Self-starter with an ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects with little supervision
  • ‘Can-do’ and positive attitude to learn
